83Bar expands account management & strategy teams

Austin, TX – 83bar, the patient activation company, has added three new team members to the account management department. Megan Davila, Liz Caldera, and Alicia Smith join an established team of dedicated campaign managers at the growing healthcare marketing company.

About Megan

Megan Davila joins 83bar as an account executive. She hails from Houston, Texas where she began a career as a licensed makeup artist; a passion she cultivated for close to 12 years; 8 of which she spent as an account executive for L’Oreal USA. As an account executive for one of the most well-known brands in the world, Megan conducted nationwide training for leaders in the in the makeup industry.

Megan’s work as a makeup artist has been displayed in print and she has contributed her skills backstage at fashion shows across the country. She has described herself as an active person who likes to “rip it” on a mountain bike or longboard while wearing red lipstick.

Megan will be managing campaigns, building and maintaining client relationships and bridging communication between 83bar internal departments and our clients. She will be key in ensuring that everything continues to run like a well-oiled machine.

About Liz

Liz Caldera has joined 83bar as an account manager. She is originally from Port Lavaca, Texas and moved to Austin in 2001 after just one visit – without knowing a soul. She has over 10 years of account management experience and has amassed a great deal of marketing industry knowledge.

Liz enjoys entertaining and cooking with friends and family. She is a passionate reader and has an admitted obsession with the new Austin Public Library.

“I am excited and lucky to be able to work with such a dynamic and talented group of people,” Liz said of joining the team.

As an account manager for 83bar, Liz will be responsible for maintaining strong client relationships and serving as an intermediary between the 83bar internal teams and the client. Continued customer success and satisfaction will be her ultimate goal.

“I’m excited that we are expanding our site management team! Megan and Liz both come with over 10 years of account management, customer relations management, and business development experience and they are both beyond excited to start working with our sites,” said Kim McDonnell, campaign lead at 83bar.

About Alicia

Alicia has a bachelor’s degree in International Business and Marketing from Illinois State University and an MBA in Marketing/ Management Information Systems from the University of Illinois at Chicago Liautaud Graduate School of Business. In 2015,  she partnered with Acadia Healthcare, where she worked as both a marketing coordinator and marketing manager for approximately 3 years.

As a marketing strategist at  83bar, Alicia has assumed additional responsibility related to marketing and communications. She is known for creating memorable experiences – something she strives for in developing campaigns for the patient journey. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, running, volunteering, and acquiring new skills.
